I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle in the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Outdid the sparkling waves in glee;
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company;
I gazed-and gazed-but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude
And then my heart with pleasure fills
And dances with the daffodils.

Crazy Politics

As we all know that the Jamuna Multi-Purpose Bridge was named Bongobondhu Bridge later . But, after some years the name was again changed into the previous one . It happened right after the reign of BNP . On the other hand, few days ago, our Prime Minister declared that the name of Zia International Airport should be changed . She also said that through this she would teach the opposition party a lesson . But according to my thought, if our Prime Minister would have told, “We could change the name of Zia International Airport, but we didn’t .” It would be a better lesson for the opposition party. This doesn’t seem to be good politics but a crazy fight among some kids, so to say . In this crazy politics, may be the leaders are not able to realize the loss in our economy . As a result, We, the citizens are becoming the sufferers .

ChEeRiNg ThE fRiEnDsHiP dAy

It was the 1st of August . HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY. We all were very much excited to celebrate the day. May be….it’s our last Friendship Day together.

We 1st chilled together in the college. Our Botany Practical Class became the spot . We all decided to name one another’s Bluetooth devices . The names came as ‘Bangla Apa’, ‘English Sister’, ‘I hate u’, ‘?’, ‘Urine Machine’, ‘Paaduri’, ‘Wait 4 ur death’, ‘Hot Ice’, ‘Plymouth Rox’….blah blah blah . We tied friendship bands. Those were handmade but more beautiful than those of the gift shops. We also counted each others sms . The highest number of messages was 45 and the lowest was only 8 . We made fun of the one who got the lowest .

Then the main time started . Party Time !!!!
We brought a chocolate cake, decorated the party hall with flowers, balloons, colorful ribbons etc. There was music….sometimes soft and sometimes freaky metal rock . And the food items…..Yummy….Noodles with hot tomato sauce, Ice creams, Burgers etc.
The most exciting moment was the ‘Moment of Truth & Dare’. We got to know some secrets about each of us. It’s time for the ‘Dare’. Everyone agreed to dance as they could. This was the ‘Dare’. We danced to the tunes….sometimes Ballroom Dancing, sometimes Bhangra, sometimes Robot Dance, sometimes Salsa, sometimes Indian steps, sometimes Bangladeshi steps & sometimes a different kind of dance which none could realize what type it was. To make a disco effect we created a phase where different colored lights were put on sometimes & sometimes the hall was dark .
Last but not the least, we had Champagne…..just kidding . We couldn’t have that but we thought Sprite to be Champagne . CHEERS !!!!!!

We will never forget to remember the day. At last, we all sang….

‘‘Yaaron, Dosti bari hi haaseen hai
Yeh na ho toh kya phir bolo yeh zindagi hai…..’’
